AZ's Beginnings...
Since August is our guild's birthday, I decided to write a little piece about how our guild got started...It was two years ago I decided to form AZ. Before that, I tried my luck running a few other guilds but nothing really was as much fun as an anime guild ^^ The name kinda came up spur of the moment...and to clear a few things up, "zenith" means the highest point of something. Combine that with "anime" and you have the highest point of anime, or anime's peak. You don't know how often I have to explain that >_< Ok, so anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to drag the old layout out of cryogenic storage and share it with you:

I was new to web design and this was the first graphics intense layout I ever did. It actually had many fans and made me very proud. Just read some of the original, unaltered text and you can get a feel for our humble beginnings…*sob*! Anime Zenith really has come quite far and I can't imagine what I'd being doing now if it weren't around. My life would most likely be different. Working on this guild has taught me so much about web design and fueled my curiosity for it. Starting at the end of August I will be attending college and working on my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Web Design. So, in a big way, the guild has helped to shape my life. Ok, enough about me, what about you? Anime Zenith has also helped to unite fans and create friendships. Not everyone from the beginning is still active but I've never kicked anyone out for being on hiatus (unlike other guilds who feel that is necessary O_O). That's the end of my spiel, hope you had fun looking back on old memories or learning about our guild's origin for the first time. I can't imagine what I'll write next year ^^;; Here's to a healthy two more years! Kampai!!
