When I was a junior, I took a class called Internet Applications. Besides learning HTML, my class and I were in charge of updating our school website. It was a fun class, even if I already knew a lot about web design. One of our projects was creating our own personal website, which would be showcased on our school website. This is what I came up with ^_^ The picture is the background of a table, with the content set to scroll. On the left are internal links that jump to a certain section of the page.

I chose fruit because I wanted something that would look sweet, cute, and cheerful all at the same time. It's fruitilicious!! Finding clipart is not easy. It took me forever to find a site that offered images that looked halfway decent! This was one of my first attempts at creating a tiling background. Usually I don't like images that tile, but since the page itself didn't scroll, it looked good. Just below the welcome message is a blinkie I created. It looks really cute!

Since this class taught us how to make webpages, many students had never worked with web design before. Boy, did it knock their socks off when they saw mine ^^;;
