I created this for my sister’s blog. This layout suffers in much the same way as did my first one, .hack//DUSK. The one redeeming quality of this one is that the picture is much nicer and I put more effort in the background. I used lyrics from one of the songs from the show to line the background. Then I wrote Kat’s name in script. Nothing very difficult. The thing that amazes me is that I used tables to create the whole thing. There’s not one div style, which makes for some interesting problems. When too much text was entered on the right side, it would push the journal entries down the page, which is why none appear in the layout. Oh believe me they’re there, you just can’t see them ^_~

The picture fades on the edges similarly to the .hack//DUSK thing. Could it be because both layouts were taken from shows whose title began with .hack?? Probably not. It’s more like I didn’t know anything about blending an image to its background.

One good thing though, the colors look much nicer than the other previous one. And the picture of Subaru, girl with the wings, is also a much better picture. Kat was so nice and told me she loved it and still does, even though I know I could do better. Since then, she’s created her own blog layout (which looks ten times better than this one, and it’s only her first try!). When I asked if she wanted me to help her, she politely declined. Maybe she’s afraid of what I would create! No, really, she honestly loves this, but just wanted to practice blog-making herself. Two thumbs up to her!
