Ah yes, my first blog layout. This was made for my online diary. I had never had an online diary before and therefore had never made a blog style layout. Unfortunately, all of the original text has been lost. That’s why in the picture there are only two sentences worth of text to describe where the content was placed, so you get a rough idea.

Well, the colors are ok, I guess. I’m not a fan of sky blue so I have no idea why I used it. The picture is nothing special. I could not find one good picture of .hack//DUSK to save my life, so I ended up using the one you see. It’s in serious need of a background. I tried to create something by making little boxes, which wound up looking more like an evil game of Tetris mixed with a defragmenting hard drive O_o

The base of the picture looks strange, when in fact I was trying to go for the gradual fade effect to the extent that you couldn’t tell where the picture ended and the background began...Well, I must’ve given up because that’s not what happened. I just lightened the bottom of it and hoped for the best.

I guess it’s not so bad for a first attempt and it did give me some confidence to try another one, Kat’s Blog. Again, I’ll blame it on lack-of-how-to-use-layers knowledge. I’m glad my later blogs look much nicer!
